SENSE × KRISTIANIA brings together contemporary art, collectible design and living with art — contributing to Lech’s evolution as a destination for contemporary culture.

At its core, the programme asks a simple question: what happens when art and design are no longer viewed as separate disciplines, but as part of the same cultural conversation?

Moving beyond the white cube, exhibitions unfold throughout Kristiania’s intimate interiors. Artworks and objects inhabit spaces of gathering, reflection and everyday ritual, allowing them to be experienced within a lived environment rather than as isolated statements.

Intimate in scale yet ambitious in perspective, each exhibition is concept-led and carefully assembled, creating unexpected relationships between works, materials and forms. The Alpine environment becomes both context and catalyst, offering participating artists a distinctive point of departure. Underlying the programme is an interest in “feeling into form” — how artists and designers translate ideas around Living, Nature, Memory and

Future into material expression.

As a new cultural presence in the valley, SENSE seeks to contribute to Lech’s evolving identity as a destination for contemporary culture, creating encounters between disciplines, generations and communities.

SENSE X KRISTIANIA LECH explores the fertile territory between art and design — where context becomes part of the work, and contemporary culture is experienced with curiosity, intimacy and ease.
