ABOUT US
Our story begins in 2018, when commonsensegallery.art was founded as a virtual gallery that showcased local and international contemporary art in a variety of media formats. Officially launching as a permanent gallery space in 2022, sense gallery puts a spotlight on contemporary artists and young talent and is a destination for discerning collectors looking for early entry into dynamic programmes and exhibitions.
Working with both established names and early-career artists, our mission statement is centred on expanding opportunities for artists to gain wider international exposure and visibility. Diversity is at the heart of our practice, and we represent artists from multiple generations and cultural backgrounds. This mix facilitates what we see as the true function of art: dialogue across borders, both physical and mental.
Our current ensemble of talent includes 14 inspirational artists, drawn from across the globe with whom we work to shape our collective identity across borders. Our eyes look towards the future, as we aim to not merely ride the waves of current trends, but, alongside our artists, direct those waves to new aesthetic shores.
We act as a strategic advisor and infrastructure partner for institutional clients, delivering curated contemporary art programs for businesses. Our work spans collection management and art initiatives for corporate (hotels, offices, architects), heritage, and lifestyle brands,
Our regular gallery programme includes solo and group exhibitions, salons, and events in our exhibition spaces. We are also regular attendees at international art fairs. Key themes we curate include humanity, inclusivity, diversity, interpersonal relations, society, and new age ideas.
Our online gallery can be viewed at Artsy. Digital shows and online viewing rooms are a convenient link between artists and audience that breaks down physical barriers to participation. Our online gallery’s focus is to present an ambitiously diverse programme, showing new works on paper, oil on canvas, mixed media, sculptures, and collectible design.
Our annual pop-up gallery programme travels around Europe following an itinerary of cultural festivals and resorts as we showcase contemporary art and high-quality exhibits. Our cycle of work looks towards new themes each year and the artists whose work best embodies them. In 2026, our program highlights Berlin-based artists and international designers. We focus on vibrant, experimental practices defined by bold colour, materiality, and form—ranging from dreamlike figurative works to abstract objects—created to be experienced, lived with, and collected.
